Description

Birrus Quick Frame matwell framing can be used in conjunction with Birrus 10mm Ultramat, Cocamat, Duramat, and Duragrit entrance mats and Tuff Scrape. Manufactured from a high quality extruded aluminium alloy in a natural mill finish the material used is of medium to high hardness with a high resistance to corrosion.
Birrus Quick Frame Matwell framing is designed to form an accurate frame that can be installed into a recess flush with the flooring surface that provides the recommended clearance all around a Birrus manufactured entrance mats and Birrus PVC backed mats and forms an edge protection for the adjacent flooring material.
Birrus Matwell Quick Frame matwell framing is supplied in loose lengths and does not require mitred corners. Simply cut the lengths of framing to make up the required matwell frame size, notch each framing angle at one corner as shown in the image, and butt the corners together. Ideal for creating a matwell frame for situations where no recess exists.
